About your guide

Craig was born in Colorado in 1983 and grew up in the picturesque town of Evergreen. His childhood was steeped in the great outdoors, where he developed a profound love for backpacking, fly fishing, and hunting throughout the majestic Rockies. This early passion for nature set the stage for a lifetime of adventure and learning.

Craig pursued his higher education in Denver, earning a B.S. in Aviation Technology. During his college years, he balanced academics with his love for the outdoors, spending winters as a snowboard instructor and summers backpacking and fly fishing. After college, Craig earned a commission in the Marine Corps, embarking on a military career. Following his initial training, he completed flight school and several rigorous military survival
schools. Over the next decade, Craig served as a Marine Officer in various roles, including a flight instructor. Upon retiring from the Marines, Craig returned to his beloved Colorado and pursued an MBA from the University of Denver, graduating in 2020. With a newfound focus, he moved back to the mountains and launched a llama business, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with his love for the outdoors.

Currently, Craig is expanding his knowledge by pursuing a Master’s in Agriculture Science, with an emphasis in Integrated Resource Management. His academic journey reflects his commitment to sustainable practices and resource management, aligning with his deep respect for nature. Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Craig’s greatest joy comes from spending time with his family and his dog in the outdoors. Whether exploring new trails, fishing in pristine streams, or simply enjoying the serenity of the mountains, Craig’s life is a testament to his enduring passion for the natural world.
